Probably you were already losing on the turn, so I think folding the river, even getting 4:1, is fine once the card that falls weakens your hand.

Anyway, UTG's play looks a lot like a turned queens up or a sandbagged set. And, annoyingly on the river, even 32s beats you. So does, like, a stubborn and loose flop peel from AQ that turned top pair or a tricky AA. There's not much to hope for except a very strangely played 88 or KJ.
