Villain's stats were 37/26/3.4. We hadn't tangled all that much at the table. I'd three bet him once before... he called my c-bet and won the pot on the turn when he bet after my check.

Seems like a definite call. You've checked twice after the ace fell, which is an open invitation for a loose/aggressive player to bluff you off of what he imagines to be your big pocket pair. Having so under-repped your hand I thinking calling is a must. If villain floated you with AK, or flopped a boat or quads, that's tough luck.

Yeah, I agree.

So long as you called the river, I think you played it well. (I like your turn check-call given Villain's stats and your recent history with him.)

Thats one big bet, but villain seems stupid laggy enough to make this a call.
