didn't have much of a read on villain. but he kinda seemed to call or open bet a reasonable amount with like middle or second pair. didn't see him raise much but i figured he would min-raise here with a king and good kicker, like AK, KQ, or KJ. should i think about folding after he min-raises??

he can have /images/graemlins/spade.gif/images/graemlins/spade.gif, any pair, complete air as well as all the stuff that beats you. But you are def ahead of his range to be ai on the flop

I believe shortstacking villain's are doing this with any king, flush draw, or straight draw. Since he has $.55 behind after his minraise, you are essentially calling $4.25 to win $17. Thus you cannot fold.

WTF? It costs $5 to see a showdown and you have AA in this spot, I can't believe you would even CONSIDER a fold here.
Even if he has 2pair your getting odds to call.

well he ended up having KT and hitting the boat on the river, and this was the second time in about 30 mins that i lost with AA while having the other player all-in, so i just started thinking that maybe i was overplaying my aces.

i had a note on this player that he was basically very fish and i could expect him to call down with middle to bottom pair. i think i would have played this hand exactly the same every time and if he raises the turn its prolly an easy fold right??

wow. I guess this is one of those things that's easier to see when you're not the one in the hand.

With any perspective, though, it's obvious that you have a FANTASTIC opponent. One that will call flop and turn bets of 2/3pot+ with a gutshot, hooray! Smile. Value bet.

tha first one u played perfect. u r gettin sick ass odds on the minraise and he is basically all in. an over pair is tha nutz there. no way i even consider folding.

2nd hand is MUCH closer. that board pairing K is scary as [censored] to me. but meh. if he is that bad to call with a gutter draw betting is still prolly ok. much closer tho as a decent part of peoples range after the flop is top pair hands and we r now behind those thus behind a good chunk of his range.
