villain in hand is relatively unknown, but most unknown NL2 players are the absolute worst, so i guess we can use that as a read. how was my line?

I had to reply to this thread just because of the Blood Brothers name, even though Young Machetes kind of sucks.

You didn't bet the flop why? cbet.

At NL2 I'd consider top/bottom 2pair as the nuts and would raise over his river minraise.

what worse hands is he doing this with?

also, young machetes is really good, just not their best album.

Any worse two pair, in fact. Any K. Any A.

my range for him was worse two pair hands, some worse aces(though not very likely),better two pair hands, Qx hands. so, given that, a shove didn't seems very good at the time, and i almost folded.

Bet the flop
Bet more on the turn
Call river but never re-raise, this would be madness. I don't care what limit it is.

i don't think that flop must be c-bet everytime, my hand has showdown value and i also had a backdoor flushdraw. potting the turn is fine, i just chose to bet .21, which is my default bet size.

results: he had a Q, but i still think the river call is fine.

Um, bottom pair doesn't have showdown value. BDFD = reason for you to cbet.

I'd call the river min-raise against an unknown, especially at NL2. I wouldn't re-raise it though.

I would also bet the flop and see where I'm at.

Isn't the maximum buy-in for this game $5?

youngmachetes

yes, but why would i buy in 250bb deep when i could just play NL5? i only have the roll for NL2, buying in for 100bb.

Well I always used to like that game back when I was on stars, cuz being that deep is so nice. If you aren't rolled, then I guess you have no choice though.

keep in mind: NL5 200bbs deep >>>>>> NL5 100bbs deep.

why because there's less variance? it doesn't seem like it's super easy to get 250bb in at this level. also, aren't NL2 and NL5 basically the same thing (i mean in terms of player quality)?
