This is a monster or nothing most times. The overcard is perfect to double barrel with, so you can't really know where he's at without raising ... and commiting yourself. Tough spot. Without reads I don't really mind letting it go, although an alternative way of playing this hand is raising the flop, and then whatever he does on the turn shows whether you're beat orn ot. If he checks, you win almost all the time. If he bets, you're beat.

Im just set mining here unless youve seen him min-re-raise a wide range. Not worth a flop call IMO.

This is a very player dependent hand if he's capable of playing missed overs or draws by firing multiple barrels its a call, but if villain is rather solid post flop than its a clear turn fold.

I hate raising flop for information all your doing is making a less +ev way to play the hand just so you make the hand easier to play.

Anecdotally, the last two small 3-bets I've faced preflop have been AA and QQ. I know this because I got stacked with my QQ and JJ /images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

It's possible this play is gaining popularity now that micro-NL is getting tighter and more aggressive preflop.
