Has anyone else seen information similar to this that is being reported by the Cleveland Plain Dealer today?

[ QUOTE ]
A bill that would legalize and regulate many forms of Internet gambling will be put on hold while its author, House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank, attempts to draw a better political hand.

Nothing really new here. Frank has said all along that he lacks votes to get the bill even through his committee, but that he's working to secure them. I personally think we're much, much better off with this bill floating around than we are having it get voted down.

I hope we'll all write to Congress this week with praise for Friday's hearing. That's the most effective thing we can do right now, I think. Please see my Weekly Action thread for info and for the letter I sent. Thanks.
