I've only played w/ this villian a handful of orbits. This is the first time we've been HU. He's been playing a solid TAG game thus far. I figure he's got a piece of the flop, so I'm not quite sure how to proceed on the turn.

I like a C/C. It gives villain a chance to bluff worse hands, and you lose the same to a J.

A mid-pp is his most likely holding. Fire again, if he raises u have to fold but at least u got the info.
Check calling is too much guesswork and he might check behind a hand like 99/TT meaning you miss value.
A raise is probably more likely pocket sevens than a trip jacks as a solid Tag would prob muck AJ def KJ to your raise pre flop.
Oh yeah and bet more on flop /images/graemlins/smile.gif
