2 PPs, 2 not-so-great flops

These hands are both from Party 3/6, 9 players in my second orbit. I don't have stats on either villian but to this point there hasn't been much preflop aggro.

First hand I have TT in the BB, UTG raises and all fold to me. I call. Flop is KJ4, UTG bets, I fold.

Next hand I have JJ in LMP, an EP raises, folded to me and I 3 bet, folded back to EP who caps, heads up. Flop is K63, he bets and I fold.

Too weak?

Hand 1, I'm assuming you checked and folded? Personally I'd 3-bet preflop and lead the flop.

Hand 2 is close but probably right...the only better hand you might get to laydown here is QQ. A read on EP would be helpful.
