My friend said he read somewhere that you can get your license revoked. is this true? I was planning a bringing a car to college next year, and this might not be possible? :/

Oh I forgot to add the cop said he would only give me an infraction, not a dismeanor, does that mean anything? ALl i found on google is that infraction is only punishable by a fine, but apparently I HAVE to get my license revoked considering i have broken that code

Misdemeanor i assume you mean. And yes an MIP can Fk you in most states from having a license, well at least in WA

Drinking age is a state matter. Similarly, the answers to your question will depend on state law, circumstances, who you snag as a judge, etc.

I'm nearly 100% sure that in California if you are a minor, and get convicted of any alcohol-related offense (including a misdemeanor), that the DMV can/may be required to revoke your license.
