33 or so left, I just went on a rush and this play just moved here after I KO'd the player who was in his seat. 27 pay. Avg is 18k. Villian is Bhanks11, I think he is aggro, but couldnt remember and didnt have reads.

I think this is a call for sure. I think a reasonable range for him is 99-QQ,AQ+ . This is basically never AA, and probably not KK.

We are getting 1.344 on the call, so we need 42.66% equity to breakeven.

Against 99-QQ,AQ+ we have 50% equity.

More conservatively, against TT-QQ we have 46% equity.

Even against TT-KK, AQ+ we have 42.75% equity.

If he's not crazy this is a fold.

Vs. an unknown, i'm jamming pretty much exactly JJ/QQ/AK w/ a lesser weighted AA/KK.

I would call and see AK AQ. Especiially if you are being aggro. If this was a nitish tight player I would probably fold, albet i would let the time bank gho all the way down.

I can't really see this being AQ. If you take AQ out of your ranges then it's only a call against 99-QQ/AK.

Yeah. You need to be sure that he pops EP raisers lightly for this call to be a call.

Fold unless you like being a 40/60 dog for over 2/3rds of your 30 BB stack.

Why do you think he's going to be a 40/60 dog??

I don't play on FTP but I would imagine there would be a pretty large bubble effect in a 1k tourney, is there?

If so, maybe it's worth risking chips here to build up a huge stack with which you could pwn the bubble with impunity?

Because I think villain almost always has AK/JJ/QQ. Other hands we're ahead of are balanced out by the occasional AA/KK. Justin has a nice stack and is really good at finding better ways to get chips then this.

Given that Villain did not witness your rush and has absolutely no read on you since he just moved to the table, he would have to be pushing a super tight ranger against an early position raiser that can cover him. I'm put villain on a much tighter range than 99-QQ, I think he's easily TT+, AQs+ (not likely TT since we have the two tens left).
On another note villain can be pushing wider and taking advantage of the fold equity due to the fact that no one has any reads on him.
I think taking both these points in cosideration, this might be a very marginal call at best, def. not worth the risk. I'd wait for better spots as maintaining your stack now Will still help you own the bubble, as much as if you called and won the hand.

Basically my conclusion was... odejwioedjiowjedwiojdmnxoi.... then i folded. If he had 5k more or less I might call, but this stack size and that push really suck.
