The villain has been fairly aggressive and has used the pot button a TON. This board was really dry and this felt like a bluff to me. Plan for the hand? Is checking the turn bad? An alternate line?

Call turn, then check call river. An aggressive player may well have interpreted your bet on flop then check on turn as weakness, seeing your flop bet as just a cbet with air, and is now trying to take it away from you. Just my thoughts anyway/

If he's really aggro you can probably just call here and check to him on the river so he can bluff again.
