What's beating you here? AA, an unlikely holding given the board. Same for 88. I don't think the range of hands to beat you are very wide here. Call and evaluate on the river. If a blank (non heart)comes I'd seriously look to GIAI , either by bet/3 betting or check raising. Out of those two choices I prefer the former, but that's me.

My thoughts about what's beating me...AA unlikely given the loose table and he's aggressive, same with JJ, 88 is possible but given I have an 8 it's very unlikely, so that leaves AJ and no decent player is calling AJ here unless it's sooooted knowing he'll be OOP in a multiway pot. So....I have no idea.

You didn't mention anything about a loose table in your description. If he is that aggressive calling would be a good option to induce a bluff from a blank hitting the turn. I think you're looking at an Ace/High card hand here or a very good flush draw but that's just my opinion.

It was a loose table but I was more implying that if he calls it's likely it's going to be a 4 way pot since people never fold after somebody else calls after they limp it. So he's more likely to be extremely straight forward preflop.

You're asking about what to do on the flop, right? That's what I was answering, because you and villain are the only ones left in the hand.

Yeah, but obv preflop makes his range narrow.

Nobody is folding AJo pf. I canīt see calling really. The pot will be $30 and villain has $13 left so it is push or fold on the flop. I would push, even though AJ looks likely, but so does AQ, AK or some sort of draw. A set is less likely, even though many just calls with JJ pf here.
