Research Paper Topic Suggestions?

I'm in an Online Communities course where we have to select a research topic related to any community. Naturally I choose poker and the legislation issue seems like a perfect topic, but I'm not sure what to focus on -- basically what my research question should be.

It could be as simple as "The Effect of UIGEA on Online Poker," but something more specific or interesting would be better.

There is some interesting data from pokersitescout.com related to the traffic. Also, poker source has some other stats.

I think that more interesting topics would include how online communities serve as social networks. Home poker is a good example.

One thing I found amazing was when Neteller froze, how this online community worked together to move tons of cash between strangers with very few incidents of theft, etc.
Not sure how to make this a topic, maybe you could include this as an example.
