I felt dumb for not knowing if I did anything wrong here, or how I might have played this a bit better.

Six-max 25NL, $25 effective stacks, terrible players (worse than me, even).

MP opens for 1.10, DONK CO calls, I make it 4.50 to go with black KK on button, only DONK CO calls.

Pot is ~10, flop is QT2 with two diamonds, DONK CO checks, and we have 20 remaining. What is my action here?

*edit to add* I am 100% comfortable getting it in on this flop against this player if that makes a difference.

Make it 2/3's pot and snap call a shove? I never really feel comfortable folding and overpair in these spots because villian shows up with draws so ofton that its burning money no to.

That said, youve only got $13 remaining into a pot of $24 on the turn, so he's not folding much, but at least he's just priced of out a naked diamond or straight draw though I doubt he would fold either.

...plus of course he could just put you on AK and call with Q9o /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Lead for $8. If called, push turn. If someone pushes you obv called. Pretty easy hand.

The only hand your are beat with right here is TT. Make a standard 2/3 pot c-bet and call if villian pushes. If he flat calls the flop then you'll have to completely re-eval the situation on the turn.

Yeah well if we bet $8, CO calls and turn is a diamond, I guess we have a [censored] spot.

at least we have position, so a check behind is probably good then. Would you call a river bet if the river wasn't another diamond and no A, Q, J, T (,9)? How much would you call?

Just push a diamond turn.

Exactly, we are not folding period. I bet $7 and shove any turn. An A or a /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, we shove. If he calls flop we canīt put this guy on a hand, only that we are ahead 90%. Some turn cards is obviously worse than others, but we donīt know, so we push. The worst mistake you can do in this spot is leaving money on the table or folding.

get all your money in, bet about 2/3 pot, commits him to shove and if he just calls, shove turn.
