I seem to run into this a lot. People reraise my $1 to $1.75. Assuming just the two of us, it's $3 back to me with $.75 to call. I basically have to call this, right? I don't feel like I can 3-bet with a hand like this. But I've lost the betting initiative and if I miss, which I just about always will, I think I have to fold to just about any bet.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($25)
CO ($38.15)
Button ($25.80)
SB ($33.05)
BB ($25)
UTG ($29.90)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A/images/graemlins/club.gif, 4/images/graemlins/club.gif.
1 fold, Hero raises to $1, CO raises to $1.75, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.75.

Flop: ($3.85) 9/images/graemlins/club.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $2.5, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $6.35

dont raise A4s PF in MP

this is just one of those overall [censored] hands that happen sometimes to everyone

And also FYI his raise IS a 3bet, a reraise by you would be a 4bet

I would probably just call with a hand like this in your position. Then if someone raises it, you can get away from it.

I'm not really sure why I wrote that. I must not have been thinking correctly from multitabling. My bad for the bad advice.

Yeah, I have no clue why the heck I raised this. When I posted the hand I was thinking I was on the button and it was the SB that raised it. Can we ignore that position thing and address the actual question I asked? "fold PF" is of course correct but doesn't really contribute any value to the thread.

*shrugs* Fine as played /Fold PF fine as played

My point is How many times you gonna raise PF with Axs and get mini reraised out of position and miss the flop.

Don't get hung up on it...its really no biggie

Honestly? I raise in position and get min-raised a fair amount of the time. And I'm going to miss the flop most of the time, right? I mean, it's not like 1/2 the time this is happening, but it happens enough that I wanted some discussion on it.
