Good spot to keep going....or not?

I normally give up after 2nd bullet unless something conviences me that he'll fold the R.

sometimes this is okay. hopefully he didnt have something like the A/images/graemlins/diamond.gifx/images/graemlins/diamond.gif or whatever.

I don`t really like to 2 or 3 barrel against calling stations, cause he isn`t necessarily holding a flush draw here. Remember they usualy just call, call ... regardless of the two diamonds on the board.
The way it`s played river bluff is ok, he was probably on a flush draw and will fold to a 2/3 pot bet.

I think these plays should be used sparingly, but if I had played the hand as you did I would feel compelled to fire on the river. You're in a hopeless situation with a decent pot, and some draws missed, its a reasonable time for a 3rd barrel.
