READ: Player had just lost to $20-stack with AK vs AQ on QQT flop. 31/7/1/55 hands. Player had already called 3bet with QJs after raising oop and betting the hand out when it hit top pair.

On the flop I bet strong, since I had outs.
On the turn I put him on top pair and decided to shove since I felt I had a lot of out + some fold equity.

Did I play this wrong?

I think you are definately overvalueing your FE against a station

What line would you take here?

Read dependent for me on the 3bet, but Ok (people who read my posts know I am not big on 3betting esp, OOP *shrugs*).

Yes, having 3bet I would lead this flop, I probably check/call the turn, your flush I dont really consider an out, your Op may even have Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif's

you saw this guy stack off w/ gutshot draw and 2overs on a paired board, so sounds like he chases draws which is why id probably just c/f the turn especially when 3rd diamond hits...btw i like a 3bet pf

jmgambler you like a c/c on the turn??? do you realize if he bets should be a push or close to it which is close to our stack where i doubt we are ahead...

Point, His bet would force an AI, from us, I didn't like going to the felt here, which is why I would check, I also made the point that our /images/graemlins/diamond.gif's were no good either, so if Op pushed after our check, I would probably fold too

I guess best line would be to c/f turn.

What if the turn was not a /images/graemlins/diamond.gif ???

Push - Check/Call?
