I was pretty sure that villain had a Jack just wondering if anyone thinks the outcome of this hand would have been different if i had re raised on flop or turn?

Turn: A /images/graemlins/heart.gif
Villain bets $1.20, Hero calls $1.20

River: 8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Villain bets $3.60, Hero raises $7.60 all in

Villain calls shows Jack 8

Don't post the results of the hand. It baises people's opinions. Also, try not to say things in your intro that suggest the outcome. Just post what you knew at a certain decision point and the hand to that stage.

I would raise turn to protect my hand from draws. Make it about 3,5. But a call could also be right because some of the possible draws are quite unlikely.
