I am being forced to spend the last couple days of the month with the lady, so I've played my final session for May. So I figured I'd start up the May roundup thread. When you are done with the month, post graphs, stats, hands and whatever here, make a short roundup post then tell us all how you are going to kick some ass in June.

About 10k hands less than I wanted but it was a trying time in the real world. My AF is still way too low, and my vpip is a result of running colder than antarctica, which I did for most of the month. Very nice to hit 6bb/100 after the insane beats I took. Pretty pissed at the last minute 3bi downswing of last tuesday which really messed up my WR.

Add a $200 donkament score, then subtract some crazy amount of SNG / other donkament entries / Party BJ and they probably cancel eachother out anyway.

June: MORE HANDS. 20k min. VPIP closer to 22-23. Higher AF. I'll still probs be happy with 6/100 tho.

I play BJ to help me appreciate the gambool, which is something I need to work on so I can take advantage of smaller edges. At the end of a session, say the br is $X,X47, Ill take that $2 on the end and BJ it, just to make it a round 45. I usually do the same for sums of up to $4. Its 0EV long term I figure, maybe slightly -EV, but it helps me to appreciate what its like to coinflip.

Its in preferences. You can check and uncheck which levels, set the date ranges etc etc. Preferences tab.

So here it goes. I couldnt find the other thread about my goals for this month. But I know it was somewhere around 25k hands, move up to $100nl and make atleast $1500. I also wanted to buy a new 20" screen. I have put in more hands, made more than I wanted, and also cashed out a bit.
Ive also made around $600 in bonus and SnGs/donkaments. So this month was awesome, eventhough it started out very crazy :-/

After that, take shots at $200nl. 25k hands at least this month.

Hopefully I can play alot more hands this June, seriously my stamina sucks. After like 500 hands I just lose most of my focus and wind up doing something else. I tell myself I'm going to sit down and play for four hours and wind up playing like 45 minutes, it's horrible but I seriously have trouble playing my "A" game for extended periods of time.

it's definitely not 0EV. online BJ is for sure rigged because it'd be too easy to get a program to count cards perfectly.

May started off really hot for me, moving up from 10nl to 50nl in a single week. I then started grinding 50nl profitably though I'm trying to get through a long breakeven stretch atm (10k hands and counting)
My goal for June is to move up to 100NL and be beating it at 4ptBB/100 by the end of the month.

Including my (much more profitable) limit days its been a few years since I've worked a real job. July 1, I leave for South America for a few months, and when I return, it's back to wearing clothes instead of a towel when I work. Blech, I hate clothes.

Own my house now and want the guaranteed income I need to fix it up just the way I want. On the bright side, I think playing for fun/extra cash will make me finally start taking shots at higer levels. Wouldn't surprize me if I ended up making more from poker when it's a second job than when it was my first.

June goal...out with a bang. Or run so terribly I never miss it.

May goals: Pass all my exams and maybe play some poker in my spare time. Results: Piece of cake.

June goal: Quit being such a pussy and move up to NL200 permanently. I can beat it and I'm way overrolled for it, only thing holding me back is lack of testicular fortitude.

Here are my graph and stats. My winrate dropped off at the end, played way too much poker over the weekend (not good for me). Still very happy with the end-result. Including rakeback (~$300) this is my first 1K month! Being coached has done a lot for me, both pokerskill-wise as well as mentally.

Blech, May was frustrating. I was winning slowly but surely at 25nl(finally moved up from 10nl) and then tilted off about 300 after a string of bad beats and bad calls. Dropped down to 10nl to try and grind my roll back up so I can play 25nl. Goal for the month: recoup my losses from super ninja monkey tilt and play at least 30k hands.

second month of poker ever, had a bit of a strugle in april, found myself in a downswing/tilt.
May went pretty well, I suppose I'm running pretty hot, moving up to NL40 as of today. Actually there's supposed to be a 400 hands NL40 session where I made 1 buyin, after I got suckedout for a 2 buyin pot.
Oh well, I guess I can't complain. Goals for june: get my money on partypoker and move up to NL100.

- 2500 hands of NL25 for -7.25PTBB

I've taken shots at NL25 but haven't been able to maintain the same discipline due to tilt.

June goals are really simple:

- Move to NL25 permanently

Okay, now that May is officially over for me I'll chime in, too.
Overall, May went better than April. I didn't play too well, though, ran pretty bad (but better than in April). At least I made money instead of losing it. Therefore, I'll consider it a step forward.

General stats for may:
20/15/2.5 over 17358 hands for a meak 3.8 BB/100. My RB + bonus is probably going to match my winnings. Sigh.

Well, I haven't been around here for long, but I figured I'd post my results/predictions to help spur me to become more active in this forum.

Overall I was happy with my play in May, however three tilty sessions that totaled 12 buy-ins led to a very turbulent month and overall poor results. Also, if anyone sees anything obviously awry in my stats, please feel free to point it out.

I started playing 500 hands a day in the middle of May, and I hope to continue that trend throughtout June. Not overly easy with a 8-5 job, but I will try. With that, my goals for June are:

- Post a winrate of 3PTBB/100 or greater (small steps)

Then, basically went on a 13k hand breakeven stretch before finally getting back up to $1k.

the even sicker thing is, my buddy emailed RTR to try and up his limits cuz he was massing the highest limit SNG's solid for a month and generated like 6k or something in rake and wanted to know if he could get a bump and she eamiled back and was like.. sorry can make it happen, some people generate (or get 20K, either way jesus [censored] christ) in RB and they cant even get higher %.. wow.. from what I understand its like 3/6-10/20 multitablers/high stakes SNG pros ( i really dont think people that play this for fun at that level can make that much) or a combination of both (there are a few players that will like 4 table cash and then 9 table turbo SNG's, and they beat both which to me is sick

I would suggest not skipping 10NL...atleast play 5K hands there.

It is an important stepping stone from the 2NL VILLIAN aggresion with anything just because a raise seems cool, to the 25NL pysche of i Raise cause i have position on this person and i have a good hand (assuming villian has come positional awareness...something which probally 25% do have at this level).

Basically what i am making a meal of say is that moving up the limits in gradual incriments allows you to adapt slowly to the increased skill level of the opponents. This understanding is critical in ur assessment of their holdings, and therefore your ability to Value Bet etc.

Goal 3 was nah.
