How long and extreme can a negative down swing be at uNL?

The last 7 times I have held AA or KK I have been clearly ahead of my opponent and out drawn. Every time I pushed all in and am suffering a big down swing. I am also on a bad run with other hands such as flush's and trips. In most/nearly all cases it has been a case of a calling station sucking out on me. I have been playing with the numbers on my side and the feed back on how i played my hands has been posative.

Any tips or suggestions to help me get through this rough patch?

I had this happen to me in March where I barely had a winning month with AA and KK. My PTBB/100 with AA and KK in March was 2.2, where it is 6.7 so far this month. Many times I went all in with the best of it, only to lose. Nearly all of these times it was for a lot of money.

Certainly you must analyze your play. Are you doing anything wrong?

If you are convinced that you are doing everything correctly, then press on. Don't let the frustration build. Most importantly, don't let the frustration change the way you play in a negative way.

I know when I was going through my bad stretch, I found it hard to push with AA because I "knew" I was going to get sucked out on. To do this would be the biggest mistake you can make.

Over 25,000 hands you will get AA a little over 100 times. Take a dice and roll it 100 times, and figure a "6" is a loss with AA. You will have stretches where the 6 comes up a lot. You can't help it.
