NL2 - scary river

Vilain has 80% VIP, 16% raise PF and 1.75 aggro. I have over 65 hands from him and I've seen him play like a retard.

Is there anything I should've changed and am I losing here?

Explain why that is a scary river? It is a very good river.

And just pushing is so much better than check-calling. By check-caling villain can push every time you are behind, and check behind with marginal hands.

Because I've seen him play 27o CO and a reraised pot with 94o in SB... He may very well have a 5..

River is just about the best possible card in the deck for you. Push and let him call with his 89, J8, A4, etc.
