If he has AK/AQ with no clubs I am a 50.1% to win.
If he has a set I am 30%
If he has a bigger flush draw with overcards we are 50-50.

Given this what is my best play on the flop?

Given that I call, what is my best play on the turn, when I hit trips? What if the turn blanked?

What if villan had me covered ie 100bb stack?

Lurker.

I think you played this fine. Another option is to shove the flop.

Part of the reason that combo draws are so powerful is the fold equity that is built into them when we push/raise. Our equity in this hand is the greatest on the flop, when we still have 2 cards to come, plus our bet is greater in relation to the size of the pot.

As short as the button is here, you just as good getting the money in on the flop with 2 to come as you are calling the flop bet.

You have to remember, even though your hand hit pretty hard here, a lot of the time even with a ton of outs your hand will brick, so that extra fold equity which is built in by pushing can be the difference between winning the pot of losing money c/c a big draw OOP.
