Never played with this guy before but he seemed aggressive. On turn i figured if i bet 99-JJ would easily be able to get away and anything beating me obviously isnt folding. I have no idea why I bet the river since his hand looks exactly like TT, but i guess i figured i could get some value from JJ. Does my river bet look weak enough that he could possibly be bluffing?

I think the turn is a bet..
he's gonna check behind w/ JJ/TT and overcards might end up scaring him/you on the river, i dont really think he's gonna bet there that often.

So.. yea i keep betting, and i dont fold to a raise on the turn. this weird one on the river is more suspicisou, looks like TT to me, but i think i probably call anyway, cause people do stupid things. You only bet half pot, and he basically minraised you, you only need to be good 1 in 5 times here

Call the river. If he just hit a 2-outer, that is bad luck, not bad play.

I don't have trouble with the turn check or river bet, although you could have played it differently.

People are dumb, there is no way that JJ-99 easily gets away after putting in so much money, unless you really know the opponent.


Also I flat call PF a reasonable % of the time.

i def disagree with exit that the turn is a bet -- our hand is really overrepped right now -- like, i think QQ is on the bottom end of our range for doing this. if we check the turn, at least he can "put us on AK" some of the time and we can get a bit more value on the river. i even think there's something to be said for checking this flop some % of the time (but not as a default).

i think b/f the river is good, he's not raising you with JJ here, no way. you can get some value from hands that think you have AK, but when he raises, you're crushed.

i would have bet the turn but i definitely want to fold this now because he doesn't want us to fold and like mlagoo said, QQ is just about the bottom of our range here
