Dear Democratic National Committee:
You asked me for money in a recent email I received from Howard Dean. I had sent you a small contribution after the passage of the UIGEA.

I too am tired of the Republicans. I am tired of our rights being taken away and their religious right leanings.

I enjoy playing poker on the Internet along with millions of Americans. We enjoy our pastime playing with players from all over the world for an hour or two afterwork a few days a week. I like the fact I can save the time, trouble and expense of driving to a casino or card room. Also, I like to have a couple of drinks when I play. I enjoy the fact I am safe at home and do not have to drive after a long day and a few drinks.

If you want my vote and future contributions please support Barney Franks bill to legalize, tax and regulate Internet Gambling.

Americans want the freedoms they have lost under the Bush Administration back. Please do what you can to keep our country from turning into a nanny state.

This could imply that you favored UIGEA.

Other than this, I like the letter. The point is later clarified in the letter. FWIW, Barney Frank just sent a letter requesting more money to forward to fight against the evil Republicans. As long as the "R"'s are on the anti-freedom rampage, I will be happy to help the Dems.

I am replying in the following way to all letters I get for donations - my discretionary income is tied up in Neteller. I will not be contributing to any causes until my account is unfrozen and online poker is made legal. I also print 'make online poker legal' on the front of all the envelopes.
