Been at the table like two orbits. Two hands ago I c-bet a 854 two-tone flop against another player with KQo. I spiked a Q on the turn and he check-called again. River was A completing the flush, check-check, and I win vs. 77. So if this villain is paying attention he knows I c-bet. Am I getting floated by A-hi here already?

well he could have A8 or A7 probably not A3

he could also have TT, JJ (maybe QQ) probably not KK and AA

and there's a small poss he called w/ naked overs, so AT, AJ, AQ, probably not AK

i think your turn call is good.... you're essentially inducing a bluff

his river bet seems to be a little big and too persistant....
so it's usually a value bet, and sometimes a hideous hand he know he cannot possibly win with if he checks behind.... but more often a vbet

i'd fold river

I like a turn b/f.
As played you need to fold the river.
It's BvB which makes it more likely he
floated with overs.

i don't see the reasoning in checking the turn.

a turn bet folds TT a lot and is a pretty easy b/f rather than a difficult river decision with not much information to go off.

I'm not looking to fold TT (small part of his range, IMO), I'm hoping he'll think I have missed overs again, and that he'll bet his 9x/8x/77- to "protect" his hand or bluff with T9.

There isn't a lot of value in betting this flop right, but it's o.k. to do so for other reasons (protecting our hand and not handing over control of the hand to villian come to mind)?
On turn, I don't like turning our hand into a bluff. I'd rather let villian know we're scared of the ace and let him turn his worse hand/draw into a bluff. The second ace isn't a good double barrel card and if villian is any good should know this, so it looks like easy fold.
I'm just rambling here. It's late

33/88/77/A3/A8/A7/T9/random float w/ air/randomk float w/ A high. I'd just give it up on the river readless.

Couldn't villain be value-betting an 8?

we don't know if he's continuing a bluff on the river though. unless we can get some info from his bet sizing we're c/c c/folding our way into his bluff if hes capable. after you check the river it looks like you don't have an ace, why wouldn't he try to rep one.
