Villain is loose pf - do we see a set here or flush draw?

Is the push standard?

I was thinking - do the min-raises on the flop suggest a strong hand? or am I looking at A9-A4 K9-K4 here?

Raise more pre-flop. Call flop, lead river.

Surly river is a tough spot as any 8 or 9 takes the pot? I don't think villain has an overpair here... So all we would be beating on the river would be A4

I meant lead turn; my apologies. He'll think you called with a mid pair and scare off, most likely (dependant on player a lot of times), but you're hand is probably still good.

Unless you got yourself stacked against two-pair or a lovely set.

Raising more pre-flop would help here. Raising 3BB with AA just doesn't cut it.

If you are scared of the flush draw on the flop then you should bet more to price villain out of a call. If the villain still raises then you are more likely up aagainst 2 pair or a set and can adjust accordingly.

Getting all-in on the flop with that much hand is fine. If he has a set, he has a set. He may have 2 pair. Those are the breaks.

Raise more preflop; at 2NL people will call HUGE raises preflop. Bump it up to at least $.10 and get it in on that flop.
