In the retrospective i think calling is no option because I have no mush implied odds and am also calling on wrong odds. So is the reraise ok here even if he is so short?

(I'm new at 2p2, so treat this with caution)

If you push and he folds you get a win of $6.5, and a call costs you his $14.75 in 2 out of 3 cases and wins you $21.25 if you hit the flush. So if x is the propability for villain to fold you get EV = x*6.5 + (1-x)*[(1/3)*21.25 - (2/3)*14.75] = x*6.5 + (1-x) * -2.75 = x*9.25 - 2.75 => x has to be greater than ~30%.

So the question is with which hands will a shortstack donk into you and are there more than 30% of those hands which he'd fold. (and here my hand evaluation experience is at an end and I have to resort to 'guess not' /images/graemlins/smile.gif)

Why don't you have the implied odds on a call? The villain likely has a Q. You can almost surely get 1 more bet out of him if a diamond comes on the turn. You're about 4.5/1 to make the flush on the turn. You $2.50 call only has to get around $8 more out of him on the turn to be break even. Given his action on the flop, that seems very do-able.

I'm not so wild about the raise unless you really think you can move him off top pair or better.
