villain just sat down, no hands on them, though now I realize they are from 2+2. I'm just not sure how to play this hand correctly.

I don't really like how that was played. I think you need to reraise preflop.

pf is fine, fold flop vs an unknown. At this level unless you have a read someone is a maniac you need to assume rr ranges pf are AQ+, TT+ of which you only beat 2. As played on the flop you are only getting called by TT+.
