Villain is unknown - not sure if I am tilting or not - am certainly getting frustrated though - I just can't seem to beat 5NL. Anyways - enough wining - how much credit do you give villain for flush or set here? Is a push correct?

I wouldn't just take his word for it that he has the flush he is repping, but I don't think I would push either. I think I might call and check/call on a non-threatening card on the river. Some may disagree with me though...

Call turn. If you don't fill up on the river, check-fold.
