I was willing to call of course but the question is should i folded preflop as i didnt know the exact odds you need to call with your pocket pair here.

fold flop. especially fold river, you only beat 7s and 8s. all overpair and aces beat you, and 6s

got in there with the edit real quick there coordi

after going through my database i discovered that 88-jj are uprofitable for me over 20k+ hands so i have started sacrificing some ev with them to avoid big spews.
ergo
i fold this pf to the 3bet - at least until i figure out how to play these damned hands

it's ok to call the flop as long as you know that your 10s are being played strictly for set value. Different villains play their high pp differently... some check them, some bet half pot (like this one), some bet full pot... you never really know (unless you have solid reads on a particular opponent)... Since you didn't hit your 10, fold the flop

80-100bb for villain.. If villain is shorter than that, barring reads, i would probably lay down the 10s...

hmm... i think he's got JJ-AA, he's not betting that on river with a weaker pair. and A-K made a straight on the turn. so you're beat no matter what he has. i really doubt he would be bluffing here. it's a clear FOLD imo.

PF fine
Flop - is he aggro enough to Cbet?
Turn - Any A now wins and any PP wins that 3bet PF
River - Soooooooooo simple
