This is my first post. I am confused about how to play this on the flop and the turn. I have no read on MP1.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 9 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

SB: $12.25
BB: $8.30
UTG: $3.50
<font color="black">Hero (UTG+1): $6.45</font>
MP1: $4.30
MP2: $7.80
MP3: $11.45
CO: $9.10
BTN: $10.20

<font color="black">Preflop:</font> Hero is dealt J/images/graemlins/club.gif Q/images/graemlins/club.gif (9 Players)
UTG folds, Hero calls $0.10, <font color="red">MP1 raises to $0.45</font>, 6 folds, Hero calls $0.35
Uncalled bet of $0.00 returned to MP1

<font color="black">Flop:</font> ($1.05) 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif J/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $1.05</font>, MP1 calls $1.05

<font color="black">Turn:</font> ($3.15) 5/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero?

raise or fold preflop. this is a marginal hand in EP.

as played check/fold

Buy-in full to play
Raise Pre-flop, if re-raised, fold without a read.
Your flop position is exactly what inspir3d is talking about, you are out of position against a pre-flop short stacked raiser. He put out over 10% of his stack pre-flop, you are getting 2:1 to call, and can only get 10 times your pre-flop call for implied odds. I think I fold pre-flop to a raise. Raise first pre-flop yourself next time then c-bet when you hit TPGK.

Thanks guys. I understand those concepts I've just been having trouble applying them to my game.
