What worse hand do you suppose he has?

Did he raise PF, call a re-raise, and then call the flop with air. And then just for good measure continue to bet the turn and river with nothing? There aren't any draws out so he must have a made hand, what could he have that is worse than KQ?

Unless he is a maniac, this seem like spewage to me. I think I would have lead the turn maybe for 10 dollars and then would have been done with the hand if I didn't take it down. Even that I think might be a bit spewey.

Well, since you checked the turn I guess I could see him with QQ or JJ or something say OK, he was just CBetting the flop now I'm good i'll bet out. I don't see them betting the river with the underpair though unless he is donk.

There are plenty of these types at 25NL calling a c-bet with QQ or JJ and then firing away on turn/river as a turn check by hero signifies weakness....

either bet turn for 8 or check fold, usually check fold. I'm not fan of the flop donk either.

river sucks, get that everyone is always bluff out of your system. You only beat KJ from a reasonable player.

I'd say turn is marginal but probably a fold. Close to 0 EV, but river is definitely -EV. Bet flop is [censored], I'd rather float.

edit: sorry you don't beat KJ from a reasonable player, and that river reeks of valuetown.

raise more preflop or just call both are ok i guess.

Id lead flop and turn, bet/folding the turn. as played i think you can fold the river.

He had 98. I just could not see I was beat. I was quite sure I was winning before the showdown and tried to induce him keep betting with a worse hand. I put him on steal and figured he keeps firing some underpair or something (Honestly, I had no idea what he could have). I don't know, my hand-read skill sucks. Any idea, how can I improve it?
