Call once. If he's on a draw he's going to check the turn behind your check. If he bets the turn I'm folding.

I think this a reasonable range (using Poker Stove):

QQ-TT
9d9h,9d9s,9h9s
8d8h,8d8s,8h8s
7d7h,7d7s,7h7s
AcQc,ATs
QcJc,QcTc
JTs
9d8d,9h8h,9s8s
9d8h,9d8s,9h8d,9h8s,9s8d,9s8h
8d7d,8h7h,8s7s
ATo
JTo
8d7h,8d7s,8h7d,8h7s,8s7d,8s7h

you are an underdog: 41% to 59%

this is going to sound weak-tight, and maybe it is, but on this particular flop (where three cards are connected), i think folding will result in less mistakes than calling, because the turn is not going to be easy to play at all and you don't have odds to suck-out with a backdoor flush or king.

that doesn't mean i won't get aggro on a flush draw flop, i usually do, but this one is so gross because of the large # of hands it hits. those hands are very much the ones that people, especially TAGs will call a raise with preflop.

(i might be wrong, so best to get a second opinion /images/graemlins/smile.gif)

This is my first grunching post. To me it looks like he's already hit a straight or two pair (T9 98 are likely I think) and is trying to stop you from drawing out to a flush. If I was villain I would think your bet was a semi-bluff. Either that or he's got a big straight flush draw.

Very scary indeed, but just dumping here seems weak. It is a min raise, which might mean he wants to draw us in, but it very well may be a feeler raise. Personally i'd call and check the turn and see what he does. If he checks behind and another blank comes I might value bet river.

I don't hate folding here though, esp. since he is unknown and if you are ahead you probably aren't going to be making much more money on the hand.

Edit: The more I think about it, the more I think I like the fold. Even if you spiked a K on the turn are you really gonna feel that good about it? I think i'd like more evidence that this villian would bluff min-raise first.
