View Full Version : Daniel about The Donald: a Complete Buffoon and Cancer to our Society.

I was just over at PokerWorks.com and on page one is an interview with Daniel. Towards the end of the interview Daniel is asked what are his favorite reality shows. Here is what he says about The Apprentice and The Donald:

"The same with the Apprentice, I think Donald Trump is a complete and utter buffoon and a cancer to our society but I think the show is great."

Wonder what The Donald would say to this??

I think the real question is, why a billionaire must have a hairpiece that looks like a piece of acrylic carpet stapled to his skull, surely he must be able to afford better.
Also Trump will neve hear of Daniels comment so it dosent matter.

I’d agree that Trump probably could care less what D.N. thinks about him. He might not even have a good idea who he is.

considering that trump hosts the uspc and often does bs audio snips between hands, and that daniel has won the uspc before and is likely the most famous poker player atm, id say trump should know who he is.

Yeah. I made the USPC connection after I posted, but I decided to bank on the fact that the quotation marks would most accurately represent what the Donald's ego might lead him to say. Kinda like when Paris Hilton said she had never met Tom Sizemore, let alone [censored] him.

what the [censored] does Daniel contribute to society that makes him able to make this judgment? Nothing.

At least The Donald provides entertainment through his casinos and television shows, and spurs economic growth through his multi-million-dollar commercial real estate endeavors.

Trump hair piece is an elaborate plan to make himself unique. the man loves publicity, and this hairpiece is just one of this weapons. Everyone who hates on Donald is just jealous.

In summary, Daniel is good in self-promotion, but Trump is GOD.

I made the connection to the USPC but my thoughts were that Trump knows and meets people probably on a daily basis that are more famous and wealthier than D.N. My guess is that D.N isn’t even a blip on his radar screen.

These comments are tuning people away from DN. All he had to say was he likes the show. IMO his popularity is going to his head.

I like him based on what I see on poker shows. Everytime I hear one of these comments I like him alittle less.

I am curious as to why it seems he is always in some kind of feud or talking badly about someone. I know he is proclaiming to be Christian, it seems unchristianlike to me. I myself, am not Christian, and don't wish to make this a religious debate. Just think its odd. The Christains I do know seem to avoid badmouthing.

Haha, Well basically Tom Sizemore (when the meth was still helping him maintain his girlish figure), was known for throwing crazy parties in LA. One night, he says he had come downstairs after everyone had left and Paris Hilton was still in his living room having a text-messege fight with her then boyfriend. This was right after she dropped outof high school and before the NY newspapers made her 'famous'. Anyway, long story short he 'toadly' [censored] her that night and took pictures. Years later, the Paris sex tape leaks and Tom Sizemore says something in the press along the lines of "Yeah, i've seen her sex tape. But it was alot better when I was starring in it." Naturally, Hilton's rep tells the whole word that she has never even met Tom Sizemore, and doesn't associate with any B-Listers. Sizemore then went on to publish and sell some pics of him and Paris smiling for the camera.

Guess that was sort of elaborate.

Daniel is certainly entitled to his opinion but seriously, why does anyone care what he thinks? He plays poker for a living and has done nothing for humankind. Trump is abrasive but to call him a cancer just shows how ignorant Negreanu truly is. Even with his flaws, Trump has done more positive for humankind then Danny could ever hope for.

Trump's father was the one who spurred economic growth. Donald just inherited his wealth, and by most analysis has done a mediocre job managing it. Donald's greatest achievement has been building the "Trump" brand.

Fortune Magazine published a nice article a few years ago documenting how Trump has done little to build on his father's wealth and how he's been able to bamboozle the Forbes List and others to think he's a billionaire. If you read the Forbes list, they concede it's difficult for them to know how much he's really worth (their estiamtes gone from $1B to $9B and back over the years) but reference a hugely successful west side rail yard project as evidence of his wealth, even though Fortune documented that he lost his stake in that project years ago.

But he's a great self promoter. I for one would love to have dinner with the guy.
