CO is 17/17/oo over 31

BTN I only have 16 hands on, but I already know he is a donk, 56/18/2.1.

I was thinking of checking here because donkeys bluffing ideas come to life faster then lightening when I take that line... in my experience.

Pros/cons of doing this here ?

EDIT. BTNs AFT is 3/7.

I think straightforward is the best play here, just bet out to prevent him from drawing. if hes bluffing, you (or he) just build a big pot. if a heart on the river comes and he bets you dont know if he really has the flush or continued bluffing.. I dont see any pros of checking here, hes likely to check behind with a draw and if hes betting you dont know if its a bluff or a hand that had you crushed.
so my advice is: bet about 2/3 pot and fold to a raise
(baluga theorem)

edit: whats FPS by the way?

FPS = fancy play syndrome.

Villain has less than a psb left in his stack, so I'd probably just go ahead and value-shove. I think he'll call with all sorts of random hands, since this is 10NL and he's bad.

So yeah, trying to c/r all-in on the turn is probably just fps. I think a big part of his range here is made up of Kx type hands and flush draws, both of which will happily get all-in if you just pot the turn.

By c/r the turn you're hoping to induce him to shove with a hand like TT or JJ, which you'd probably (eh, maybe not, he's a goofball) fold out with a turn shove. I don't think these hands make up enough of his range though for you to have to get fancy.

Yes, value shove. No wai this donk will let go any kind of hand in such a big pot.

If you check he might check behind with hands that he would have called anyway.

Big pot, play straightforward. Induce bluffing in small pots.
