My read on this person is they are a solid player...stats V22.8/P12.3/T2.8

My first question is should I have even completed the small blink with J7s? My thoughts were yes there were lots of limper, And if I flopped a monster I could win a big pot.

Second question is can I get away from this hand or am I just gonna go broke?

You played the hand prefectly postflop.

If the table is very passive you can safely complete the blind or limp behind w/ small suited connectors. Just be careful when you hit a jack with a hand like J7.
