villian is 33/25/5 over 100 hands ive 3 bet him plenty but never been raised like this on the flop. standard?

It's fine. This is probably a king the vast majority of the time, and if not, it's a spade draw + ace. Def lay it down.

I tend to find that players consider PSB more seriously than oddly sized bets that are less than pot.

I've always noticed that when I face this situation, a PSB will take the pot down more often than a 3/4 + change bet.
