Well first of all this is an absolutely awful raise preflop. I'm folding after the flop raise, but I would never get that far.

About the only hand that calls you on the turn that you beat is AQ or AJ, if that. What are you putting villain on after the flop raise with no read?

Kx, Ax. I've been raised with mid-PP here as well.

Why would you shove the turn then?

I strongly disapprove of your action on every street.

Because they will call with Kx, Ax or mid-PPs.

Do u have any stats on the player? Is he a TAG or Mainac or what ever??? That would help...

But I must agree with the others, bad PF, bad F

OP, you're first giving a hand without any reads or stats, and then you're justifying your moves by telling us villain will call a shove on the turn with a worse hand than middle pair?

I thought the hand was discussion-worthy without giving specific reads. Some examples:

<ul type="square"> Button's calling range pre-flop
What does the semi-min-raise mean?
What can villian expect us to have?
What hands is he calling/folding with on the turn?
What are alternatives for the turn play if we think we are ahead?
[/list]
Yes, I got a bit snappish because the fact that A8 is a fold on their pre-flop chart seems to have encouraged everyone to post zero-content responses.

It's probably best to let this thread die.
