do you have to taxes on poker winnings to the Italian government if you are an italian citizen?

What if it is your sole source of income (pro)?

What if you reside outside of Italy, does that change anything?

ive googled it but the word gambling makes it impossible to find anything but spam.

I am not an Italian tax law expert, and infact my job has nothing to do with tax and only a little to do with Italy. Please do not take this as gospel, this is just my personal view.

I am under the impression that Italians do have to pay tax on gambling winnings. It has been that way for quite some time. Whether you are a pro or not doesn't matter, nor where you live.

just talk to your local mob boss. Im sure you can work something out that doesn't involve cutting fingers off.
