First of all, sorry i don't have HH's on hand. I'm currently on my laptop.
On to the hand. Villain has 100bbs, and i cover. No real reads on the villain as i just sat down, i do not have PAHUD up.

Preflop: 3 folds, Hero raises to $.35 with A /images/graemlins/heart.gifK /images/graemlins/club.gif, SB calls, BB folds.

Flop: A /images/graemlins/spade.gifJ /images/graemlins/heart.gif3 /images/graemlins/club.gif
Villain checks, Hero bets $.65, villain calls.
Turn: 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Villain checks, Hero bets $1.25 (too small?)
River: 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Villain checks, Hero?

If we bet, how much? What range of hands do you think the vilain calls with? Is this ever a check?

Bet this 100% of the time at 10NL. Villains will call down with weak aces here all the time. A river bet is very profitable here.

Oh, and I'd bet bet about $2.50 on the river. Bet more on the turn, like $1.50 or so. Chances are you're taking this guy to valuetown, so milk every cent out of him.

lets say we bet $2.50 and villain shoves for another 5ish.

Easy call. First of all, pot odds are too big, $2.50 to call for $12.10. Second of all, if villain has been slowplaying a monster, he'd most likely bet out on the river. At 10NL, a check/shove on the river is a cold bluff as often as it is the nuts. Easy call, if you're beat, you're beat.

It's not wholly unreasonable to be worried about a monster here. At 50NL or maybe some Villains at 25NL, I would check the turn to keep the pot small. But at 10NL, villains will call you all day and night with Ax, so I think going all the way here will always be profitable in the long-run.

i'm gonna have to disagree with you. river cr is hardly ever air at 10nl imo.

I don't think most 10NL villains are sophisticated enough to check the nuts OOP on the river. I started at 10NL a few months back and I saw some absolutely ridiculous river shoves fairly often.

i see river c/r quite often. Albeit, this is not my normal game and i've only played in it a few days.
Edit: Basically they love being tricky imo.

easy valuebet, you get paid off by any and all Ax from 95% of villains. fold to the c/r though.
