I wish respected high stakes players would comment with their advice on this.

As per the forum members ridicule of my other post I have decided to drop down to play 1/2 - 2/4 No Limit.

My questions now are as follows:

1.) How important is Poker Tracker for a high stakes player? Why?
2.) How important is it to have a HUD?
3.) If opponents collect significant hand histories against you, will it be easier for them to exploit your tendencies with the aid of Poker Tracker?

and MOST IMPORTANT...PLEASE TAKE TIME TO ANSWER

4.) What are the most important personal stats to be familiar with in Poker Tracker? Why?

5.) What are the most important opponent stats to be familiar with in Poker Tracker? Why?

Please don't bother commenting if you're just going to flame. Only comment if you're going to answer. I think it would be most helpful to list answers in numerical order.

I'm not flaming you at all, but if you can't answer these questions for yourself, you should not be playing 1/2 or 2/4 NL.

And these questions are too general to answer adequately IMO.

1. It helps any player, high or micro stakes, because it helps you evaluate your play, and their play, better.

2. I like using a HUD and to be honest I'd hate to be without it when multi-tabling.

3. Yes, for sure.

4. all of them can help you patch holes

5. vpip/pfr/AF/WTSD/Steal %/Folded to steal %/c-bet stats is what I use the most
