Was not sure about this - villain was quite loose and I put him on an ace. I reckoned that AK would have re-raised pf and that a flush would have raised on the turn and so I went for it. I hate going all in with TPGK but was this ok?

Normally no, this is not ok. However, your read on villain may make it so, although the read you gave doesn't really allow me to form a definitive opinion. In general I'm slowing down on the turn, and certainly not betting that much under any circumstances. I'd either bet 1.25 ish or check depending on my read.

However, some guys are so bad that I'd absolutely fire every street here and fully expect to be ahead most of the time.
