A couple of hands from yesterday. just simple pre-flop questions, but i'll still trying to get the hang of NL cash games.

first hand, this is a pretty standard sqeeze, right?

second hand, TT in the BB with a lot of action behind me already. how much should I raise here, or should I just call and take a flop?

2) In these situations, I prefer to make at least a pot sized bet. You are out of position and want to clear the field. By making a big bet you could take it down (unlikely), or you will trim the field and define your opponents hands. If you get reraised, you know you're in trouble. If somebody calls you can reeval on flop.

Hand 1 depends on the opponents whether I raise or call, but if I do repop it's at least $3.

First, about the second hand, lemme say "wow, great table!" I don't like calling a taking a flop here...you're pretty much c/f unless you hit a ten after the flop 6 way, but pf you are a substantial favorite against all of their ranges. I'd probably make it like $6...you want to thin the field.
