Villain hadn't shown himself to be loose or somehow gotten out of line thus far. I bet the turn intending to fold to a raise. Thoughts?

Hate the river check..it opens you up to a river bluff..throw a blocker bet out there (~10) and fold to a push.

villain could easily be on a busted flush draw or a pair of jacks etc.

What did you put him on after he called the flop bet? If you think it is a flush draw you need to bet more on the turn. I would say about 15.

Would anyone check/call the turn to re-evaluate and keep the pot small?

I think definately lead the turn more as it is a very draw heavy board obviously, 12-15. i think after his turn call and not raise i am quite happy to lead the river as it looks very much like he is drawing. an alternative play which i have been enjoying against the laggier types is the check call here as you will win a lot of bets from busted flush draws trying to buy the pot which would have folded to any reasonable river lead. This is what this hand looks like to me and i also prefer it to leading out as most of what we beat will fold and most of what are crushed by will raise us, and i do not want to be facing a river raise on this board.

so as played bet more on turn and then call river.
