i was just enjoying the odds i had to suck out. even with ok odds, still no good? obviously i didnt improve on the river but he still bet so small.

I'd raise larger pf.

On the flop I'll sometimes check, though betting here is fine too.

Turn I think a call is fine, but only because you're getting 4:1.

I'd fold this river. I just don't think he's doing this with less than an A.

Hm. I think you can call the turn when you think he might be floating you or picked up a flushdraw. But after his (big) preflop raise, flop c/c and then betting two streets, your 2nd pair isn't good. You only beat QQ, JJ but you are behind all his preflop raising hands that contain an A. Fold river.

the more i look at it, the more i hate the river. i believe i was tilting a little bit. i ran hot yesterday and started off good today, then it went straight to variance city.

When you say that you tilted a little bit, it is a little euphemistic to call it "variance city". I turn into a calling station when I'm hot in a session myself so I know what you mean. But you shouldn't mistake bad play as variance. It's just bad play.

i didnt mean to refer to this hand as variance city, the other two that i posted up, and the third that hasnt gotten any hits yet. this hand was included while i was sitting there since i didnt have time to review it yet and kick myself.
