This is a list of my largest pots that I lost for the month in which it wasn't an all-in then suckout.

#1. This one may be the exception, you can tell by the results what his stats are, but even as loose and passive as he is, should I slow down any here?

#7 - I know I misplayed the flop and turn here but with his bet sizes he just lucked out and I don't think there's a way to fold the river here. Should I just raise the flop to $8-9 and c/f turn on a call?

1. nh. donīt check the river

2. bet more on the flop + 3bet

3. Nh, donīt do anything differently

4. This one is a mess. Raise pf, bet more on the flop. The mini-raise on the turn was probably the worst part. Given how you got there calling the river twice is probably a minor mistake, but I think button has the hand he had a lot.

5. Raise more pf, Iīd make it $3 here. On the flop Iīd probably stack off as well.

6. On the turn Iīd probably c/f unless he gives me odds to fill up. I think you can safely fold river.

7. Nh. I think your line extracts the maximum from small to medium pairs. Donīt fold the river. 3betting the flop is overkill.

8. Bet more on the turn. I canīt see anyway to fold the river, unless you suddenly develop psychic abilities.

#4 seems close to me, #6 is a fold. I think that's it.

#4, raise KQ from the CO. #6, I think you have to drop on the end there, that board is bad news bears. On #8 I might just drop it pf. Sure you're getting ok odds, but then you're stuck w/ QTs OOP the rest of the hand.

Thanks so far guys, keep em coming /images/graemlins/smile.gif If you read BBV i had a -12BI downswing last month so this is a chunk of it. The rest of it was suckouts after the $ was in so I'm seeing how much of the downswing was preventable.

As for #6, I like the c/f plan -- the way it was played and the reason for the call is my check happened to come right after 2 FD's missed on a coordinated board and he had been passive the whole time so far. Once I checked, I opened him up to an easy bluff spot I think.
