IRS hasn't cashed my tax check yet

For my refund or my 07 1 qtr payment. This worries me a lot as I sent it in the last possible day but they always cash them within a day or two.

Is there anything I can do to verify they actually have them?

Call 1-800-829-1040. Make sure to allot some time though as you'll probably be on hold for a good bit.

my fed taxes and est are cashed and my state estimated cashed also. my state tx not yet so i called and they said it can take up to 45 days

The answer to your question is "NO", even if certified.

By "refund" do you mean 2006 refund or your 2006 payment.

Fed taxes took 13 days. State taxes were cashed yesterday. In the past Fed took as long as 1 month. Be patient, or give the IRS a call. Always best to put your best foot forward with them, they will often give you some leeway if you contact them first.

I sent my taxes in about april 8th and they got cashed in 1 week.

When I sent my estimates on April 15th it took 2 weeks, probably due to their higher volume.

Hopefully you sent them certified mail at least to see if it was delivered.
