View Full Version : NL25 - Nut Flush, board pairs on river - what's my line?

Trying to make the switch from tourneys to cash, so hopefully you'll see more of me in this forum...

NL25 - Villain is "Semi Loose Agreesive/Passive" according to PT - 25/10/1.75.

I hit the nut flush on the turn, but then the board pairs.

1) what's my line on the river?
2) how's my play up to that point?

Many thanks...

OT

Villain only has $16 left and the way he's been just calling says he's weak. I would push. It looks like he has a flush too just not a very big one. Just push the river and hope he calls. If you check the river there is a very good chance he will check behind. Every street looks good. NH.

I don't think you need to overbet the pot on the flop, betting 2 is fine. Turn is fine, and given villain's stack size you will have to call an all in bet on the river so you should make an all in bet.

Hm. This is FR. I have to adapt to that.
I don't really like the overbet on the flop. But it's ok, imo.
I bet him all-in on the river. Can you really fold when he pushes his last 16 into that 24 pot? I don't think so. So avoid a negative freeroll and bet it. In FR the average hand is stronger. So there is a good chance you are behind. JJ, QQ, KK with a club are a little unlikely because he just called preflop. But I think he has something like KcTx here often enough that you can't dump your hand when he pushes.
