It's not the first time a situation like this comes up where I feel that bet/folding is the best option. Usually when i have a reasonably strong hand on a very drawy board and feel the need to protect it and not give free opportunity for villains to bluff on a scary river. Here's one example.. if i had the ace of clubs i'd check the turn here.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Hold'em Cash Game
$0.10/$0.25 Blinds
3 Players
LegoPoker HH Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh/)

SB: $36.80
BB: $25
HANABI (BTN): $25

Preflop: HANABI is dealt T/images/graemlins/spade.gif A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 Players)
HANABI raises to $0.85, SB calls $0.75, BB folds

Flop: ($1.95) T/images/graemlins/club.gif 2/images/graemlins/club.gif 6/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 Players)
SB bets $1.25, HANABI raises to $4.50, SB calls $3.25

Turn: ($10.95) 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 Players)
SB checks, HANABI bets $7.50, SB raises all-in to $31.45, HANABI folds
Uncalled bet of $23.95 returned to SB

Grunch:

I think both hands are fine. I would have played it the same way.

First hand looks good. Second hand I think I would have called his push. I don't know it just looks like a weak bet on the turn and villain may have took your big raise as a bluff. I know we only have TPTK but he looks weak to me.

I'd check turn in the 1st after he calls your flop raise I doubt your hand is good, and I would try to get to showdown as cheap as possible.

The second hand is debatable whether raising is good. I think if you're not going to call his shove you really shouldn't raise.
