Maybe, I would fold too.... though I think its maybe a set, if you have the 5 why push so hard?

NH, hope u were checking behind on the river, 2 streets of value from TP in position is a rule of thumb that seems to work well in the current games.

i really think he had 45 or he maybe had T with low kicker and and made his 2 pair. Dont think he had set, he would have reraised me on the turn.

These guys play pretty straight forward.

and give him a free card?? Usually if theyr check calling it like this it means theyr on a draw, I agree with the rest that i should have bet more.

i like to check the turn.
This saves us from hard decision we have to make here on the river, and i do not feel terrible about giving free cards, as there aren't really any reasonable draws.
I vote for:
- Check turn.
- Call river or value bet it if checked to.

also notice that people check call 3 streets with any pair a lot on 50$NL.

lol, if you ever want a winrate about 2ptbb/100, only extracting value on two streets will hurt you.

Yes give him a free card. He payed for it. You dont have nuts, you have a very weak hand. You want the pot to be small.

In my experience if i get a check caller, and dont bet the turn im gonna be sorry, or he draws out on me, or i missed alot of valeu from him calling down with T2 or something. Its not like these guys think like u do, they think, hey i got a pair, i cant fold this.

Looks good,, but bet more on flop and a little more on turn.

Don't take Pot Control to far people,, a valuebet is good on the turn here,, he will probably call with T8,T9,TJ,TQ,TK and even 88,99 and some bizzare holdings like 56. Ofcourse he also have us beat some times to, but take it as a man, maximize EV and bet. This spot is definitely not a time to check IMO.

I'm just saying I don't normally 3 barrel top pair, exceptions for a few villains of course. To get away with 3 barreling top pair, ie. for value, you have to have a pretty LAGtard image IMO, and I don't normally have that bad of an image. Maybe I'm wrong...

Comeon,, check the turn on this level? Does most of you people play this way? Pot Control gone exaggerated IMO.
